Foot Pedals (We use these less than you think)

Most new CDL drivers, bring habits from their car and SUV over to the Semi Truck.... Foot pedal driving is not the most efficient way to drive a CMV. The goal is to use your service brake the least amount of time, replacing it with the Jake break for slowing... The service break is for stopping.... you should be Jake Breaking in all scenario's where slowing is needed... this gives you a more controlled and efficient way of slowing, so that by the time you need to stop... you can be feather light on the break/service pedal every time...
